PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The objective of the role will be to executewide-ranging engineering tasks to support closure of RCCA (Root Cause andCorrection Action) activities such as 8Ds to address defects arising from:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

RELATIONSHIPS

The role will require close working relationshipswith, but not exclusively with the following -

 

Design Engineer – In support ofdesign engineering team to develop design and process parameters andguidelines.

 

Materials Engineer – Supporting thematerials engineer in material selection, development trials and root causeanalysis.

 

Production Engineer – Provide guidanceon design intent, process development, joining techniques.

 

External Customer – Although it isunlikely that there will be direct customer interface, there will be a need toensure customer requirements and expectations are met.

 

RCCA Lead Engineer – For linemanagement and task assignment.

 

 

Job Description

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors Degree qualified - mechanical or aerospace engineering/design
  • Minimum of five years’ experience of problem solving projects gained within an engineering industry
